Enamel flower pendant/brooch from America circa 1900

In America, a wave of exquisite enamel flower jewellery became fashionable around the turn of the 20th century. Here is a marvelous example in 14k yellow gold with enamel of pale lavender and pink. Seven petals and tiny gold stamens surround an estimated .07 carat old mine cut diamond. On the reverse is a folding pendant bale to enable the gem to be worn as either a brooch or pendant on a chain.

Measurements: 1 inch (2.6 cm) in diameter at the widest. Weight o 5.8 grams (3.7 dwt).

Condition: Excellent.

Date & Origin: Circa 1900 and is most likely American in origin.

Note: All diamond weights are approximate as the stones have not been removed in order to preserve the integrity of the setting.
